Sydney Football Club wanted a new crest, something that would be timeless but that also honoured the crest which came before. They needed an evolutionary route with just the right balance of old and new, to take the prominent club into the 21st century.
Based on our experience with Manchester City and Melbourne City FC, All About Brands were approached and trusted to do the job quickly and efficiently. The re-design lifted the crest into a new era, retaining older elements but introducing a new vibrancy, new brand colours and more symmetry.
The iconic Sydney Opera House was given more prominence in the new crest, a suitable nod to the vibrant city that the Club represents. Launched in 2017 the new logo was very well received by fans and the Sydney community at large.
